Folios 213-214: George Maxwell, HMS Lord Mulgrave, Hull Roads. Acknowledges receipt of the letter of 30 July, asking why he had pressed Robert Heffer, a Seaman belonging to the sloop Friendship, he being Protected. The man brought on board HMS Lord Mulgrave volunteered for service, otherwise he would have been returned to his ship. He returns the petition of B Galway [not present] as directed.
