Folios 587-588: John Hancock, HMS Liffey, Spithead.
Responding to a letter dated 2 December 1814 he reports that on arriving at Quebec has was informed that Captain James Anderson of HMS Zealous had decided to proceed to Halifax. Major General Glasgow has ordered Anderson to supply Quebec with as much guns and ordnance could be spared. Captain Anderson intended to sail on 15 [?October] 1814 with a convoy.
