Card, marked '98' and typed 'Cardiff and Swansea, section of main line specimen tickets', 11 tickets mounted on front and two empty envelopes on reverse:

Great Western Railway tickets:

1) 'Rail [exchange] ticket, cheap third [class]', 'Bridgend to', with list of stations followed by numbers 'Cardiff General 1 [punched], Bridgend 20, [Port] Talbot General 35, Briton Ferry 41 42, Neath General 46', [serial No] 9215, buff, clipped.

2) Second class single, Llantrisant to Cardiff, [printer's initials] FN, fare 1/6, [serial No] 6526, date unreadable, blue.

3) Second class single, Landore to [completed in manuscript] 'Haverfordwest' via 'direct', fare '6/6', [serial No] 1341, dated 11 August 1899, blue.

4) Third class single, Landore to Swansea [High Street], [series code] S16, [printer's initials] AI, fare 1½d, [serial No] 2558, buff, manuscript date beside '1911'.

5) Third class single, Llantrisant to Peterston, [printer's initials] WL, fare 4½d, [serial No] 5791, buff.

6) Parliamentary third class single, Llantrisant to Neath, [printer's initials] AB, fare 2/3, [serial No] 7504, dated 15 July 1898, green.

7) Parliamentary third class single, Bridgend to Llantrisant, [series code] S2, [printer's initials] CG, fare 9d, [serial No] 1675, green, manuscript date beside '1910'.

8) One bicycle accompanied by passenger, Bridgend to [completed in manuscript] 'Glyn Neath', carriage paid '1s', [serial No] 258, dated 23 September 1895, pink.

9) One [completed in manuscript] 'Bicycle', Llantrisant to 'Padington', carriage paid '3s 0d', [serial No] 456, dated 13 September 189?, pink.

British Railways Western Region tickets:

10) Third class half day excursion return, Bridgend to Port Talbot [General], [serial No] 1124, buff with red 'H' on return portion.

11) Platform ticket, Bridgend, [series code] S42, [price] 1d, [serial No] 3805, white, with red outline diamond and hour numbers 1 to 6 printed in black on bottom, 7 to 12 on top.
