Description

Cord-bound collection of seven pages of typed notes, relating to the 'Stephenson Locomotive Society (Midland Area) South Wales Rail Tour' from Newport to Blaenavon, Brynmawr, Ebbw Vale, Crumlin Junction, and Markham Colliery on 11 July 1953. Includes timetable, 'Historical and other notes on the route' by D S Barrie, and W E Hayward's report of the journey 15 July 1953.
