Contents of bottom envelope on reverse of item 46, three cuttings, monochrome photographic illustrations:
1) [Railway Magazine, December 1901, page 526], front three-quarter left-side view, 'Snow Hill, Birmingham, a Great Western Railway express placed in a siding to allow a fast express to overtake it'.
2) [Railway Magazine, July 1950, page 455], front three-quarter left-side view, 'Weymouth to Wolverhampton train leaving Birmingham (Snow Hill) in September 1949, with Western Region 0-6-0 tank engine No 9682 piloting a 4300 class 2-6-0 tender engine. [photograph] J D Mills'.
3) Unidentified magazine, front three-quarter left-side view, caption on reverse '[British Railways Western Region] 4-6-0 No 6930 'Aldersey Hall' coasts into Snow Hill, Birmingham, with a summer Saturday train returning from the South Coast', [c 1963].
