Folio 198. A list dated at the Admiralty Office of his Majesty's ships bound to the Straights [of Gibraltar] with Sir George Rooke with an account of their highest complements of men and what numbers of men they have on board. A note at the foot: 'Sir George Rooke by a letter dated the 12 September gives an account that the men Captain Jennings pressed from the merchant men, the turned over men from the bomb vessels, and a hundred of the 'Mary's' men, with the soldiers, have put the ships under his command in number near their highest complement'.
