Folios 142-144. Folio 142. Statement of an account of the funds for the land forces between 24 August and 17 September 1694. Folio 143-144. Letter from [Lord Godolphin] to the King. As directed the Treasury will endeavour to make a further agreement with Sir Joseph Herne 'for the return of the subsistence' but Godolphin questions whether this will be for as long as six months because Herne will probably want a more certain prospect of the funds the Treasury is likely to have to meet the payments. Godolphin encloses and comments on the enclosed statement of account. Lord Coningsby is mentioned.
