Folio 111. Letter, unsigned, regarding peace talks. Indicates that the writer has shared the letter of 17[th] of the previous month with the person known to the recipient. He found him in the same sentiment as he was when they first entered into discourse on the matter; and even repeated that war was only being undertaken in order to secure a lasting and solid peace. If [we] could consider peace on the footing that the Swedish crown set out several months ago at Ratisbonne and is insinuating here, he? said that we could consider discussing the matter more amply; he being in Brussels it would not be impossible to give rise to an occasion to send someone in confidence under the pretext of discussing some matters with the Spanish without raising suspicion.
