Folios 209-211. Jean Adolf, Duke of Holstein, to the King, dated at Ninove. Charleroi continues to defend itself against all expectation and may last another 10 to 12 days; accordingly, the day before yesterday the Elector's side decided to send some people there. Details the troops going and asserts that they left the morning of the day before, and that they should know by the following day if it had been possible to do something. Discussion of being able to access the magazine/stores between Alost and Vilvoorde, noting that the Hatte convoy entered peacefully under the command of Monsieur d'Obdam; the Count of Noyelle went to Hatte the day before to organise the lodgings and resolve other disputes between the officers.
