Description

Folios 204-205. Jean Adolf, Duke of Holstein, to the King, dated at Ninove. News of Boufflers. The Hatte convoy will leave that night; Monsieur d'Obdam will command it escorted by 2,000 horses and 1,200 men on foot. The Elector does not wish in any way for them to take anything from the chateaux which are all against the camp while they are all full of grain and forage. Awaits the King's orders on this. Thought it is fit to send the Brigadier l'Escluse to Hatte until the recovery of Holle; he was obliged to make this decision as the Count of Noyelle's conduct is still poor.
