Folios 198-200. Jean Adolf, Duke of Holstein, to the King, dated at Ninove. Encloses copy of a letter, received the day before, from the King of Denmark {Christian V]. The Duke of Wirtemburg will also send the King the orders he has received. Unless the King finds a way to ensure troops of Luneburg remain, those of Denmark will leave, in which case they will be unable to stop the enemy from doing whatever it wants. Believes that if the King intervenes with the Messrs of Hanover and Zell that could bring to an end all this disorder (discusses the situation, including defence of Liege, siege of Ratzeburg, &c.). Believes Charleroi surrendered the day before.
