Folio 189. Maximilian Emanuel, the Elector of Bavaria, to the King, dated at the camp at Gaure. Indicates there are so many conflicting reports it is hard to tell what the reality is. Nevertheless, he tells the King that La Valette is believed to be at Arlebeck with between 2,000 and 6,000 men, but in poor condition with many sick. Asks for the King's orders according to the different reports, such that once the facts are confirmed he will be able to proceed accordingly.
