Folio 165. Maximilian Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria, to the King, dated at Ninove. The intention of the enemy is to attack Nieuwpoort, and detachments will take up posts as soon as Charleroi is taken. The siege of Belgrade is raised after an attack on the counter escarpment in which his Lieutenant General Seiboldstorf was hanged. Fears that following these events the Emperor will send Prince Louis of Baden into Hungary for the coming year, which he feels should be prevented.
