Folios 115-116. Jean Adolf [Duke of Holstein] to the King, dated at Ninove. Received yesterday from Lord Galloway [Galway?] the King's orders, which he will perform punctually. The Danish troops no longer think of marching now that "la paix est faite" [i.e. 'peace is made']. The cavalry is suffering; they will need to take some oats from the magazines. Charleroi continues to defend itself vigorously. The previous day by the Elector, they all agreed unanimously that no assistance could be provided to it as no troops could be taken from Liege given Boufflers' proximity.
