York Central is a project dedicated to developing underused land in the area next to the city of York, where the railway station, the National Railway Museum and the city's business area are located. The purpose is to re-use the land to build new residential neighbourhoods, cultural spaces and a commecial quarter. It is led by a partnership between Homes England, Network Rail, the Railway Museum and the City of York Council.
