On orders from Rear Admiral Thomas Pringle has sailed from Leith in company with the Brig HMS Kingfisher and the Cutter HMS Active, Captain Andrew Wilson of HMS Kingfisher is directed by Rear Admiral Thomas Pringle to receive John Graham, thought to be the author of the anonymous letter.
Folio 348: enclosure in folios 346-347. List, undated, of 6 named prisoners confined on HMS Defiance, Michael Cox, John Lawson, William Morrison, john Graham, Charles Pick and William Avery.
