Folios 340-343: enclosure in folios 338-339. Paper dated December 1795 from Sir George Home Bart, Captain of HMS Defiance. A detailed account of the mutiny which took place on HMS Defiance on 18 October 1795 in reply to a letter sent by Rear Admiral Thomas Pringle [Flag Officer of HMS Asia] mentioning William Avery and Charles Pick as those who broke open the door of the Stewards Room on HMS Defiance and that Charles Pick had attempted to take the life of John Blackledge, Stewards Mate and that John Graham was the author of the anonymous letter, Michael Cox, John Lawson and William Morrison were active in breaking open the doors of the magazine and mentions by name, 18 others now in confinement on board HMS Sandwich at the Nore.
