Folios 51-52: James Halford, Beaufort Buildings, Strand. Asks for an order to pay Captain Thomas Byam Martin for the time he acted as Captain of HMS Dictator by virtue of a commission from Rear Admiral Harvey dated 10 October 1797.
Folios 53-54: enclosure with folios 51-52. Commission dated 10 October 1797 by Admiral Henry Harvey appointing Thomas Byam Martin to the command of HMS Dictator.
