Folios 49-50: Thomas Byam Martin, HMS Fisgard, Hamoaze. Reports that 10 Irishmen have been taken on board L'Immortalite, one assuming the character of a Yeomanry Officer and the others boat people who went on board when the ship appeared off the coast of Ireland with English colours! He conceives that there are United Irishmen assisting in the designs of the enemy and so as judged it necessary to confine these men until the Admiralty's further instructions are know.
