Folio 167. Copy of a letter dated at Liege from Count Cerclaes [Tserclaes] de Tilly to the Prince of Waldeck. Provides details of the garrisons on the enemy's frontier, including: the cavalry companies at Charleville, Maissieres, Sedan, Bouillon; the dragoon companies at Mouson and Doucherie; the Rhine battalions due to leave on the 10[th] still at Sedan, Charleville and Massieres. He is leaving for Huy to review the garrison and await orders. [Post-script: two nights ago 10 to 12,00 enemy horses appeared around Huy and sent parties along the Meuse.]
