Folios 136-137. Letter dated at Brussels from Maximilian Emmanuel, Elector of Bavaria, to the King. The Prince of Vaudemont is going to see you, and I am impatient to hear the orders which are given to him. The Prince of Vaudemont will relay to the King the state of affairs, in respect of which he (Maximilian Emmanuel) awaits his orders and thoughts and anxiously hopes that he may be trusted with the plans for the next campaign, so that he may be better able to further them.
