Description

Folios 225-226: James Macnamara, HMS Dictator, Gravesend. Encloses a letter and certificate from Lieutenant Samuel Forder stating his inability for actual service. Requests another Lieutenant in his place.

Folios 227-228: enclosure with folios 225-226. Letter dated 24 July 1805 by Samuel Forder, HMS Dictator to Captain Macnamara. About his health conditions following a head wound.

Folio 228A: enclosure with folios 225-226. Letter dated 11 July 1805 by John Hicks, Surgeon, Emsworth. His medical report about the health of Samuel Forder.
