Folios 185-186: John Maitland, HMS Boadicea, Yarmouth Roads. Regarding the Carpenters, William Blackball of the Alpha, Thomas Maddison of the Union, Edward Hedly of the Progress, on board HMS Boadicea. States that these men are not bona fide Carpenters but considers them liable to be impressed into service.
