Thanks the Admiralty's attention in appointing Lieutenant Gordon, but having been informed by Lieutenant Bettsworth, who is now First Lieutenant, that he is now appointed to the Impress Service, hopes that Lieutenant Whimper who is now Second Lieutenant is not promoted to First Lieutenant as he is unfit for that situation
