Folio 187. Count de Winditsgratz to the King, dated at the Hague. The Emperor, his master, wishes him to communicate what the Prince of Baden has written to M Colliers, so that the King can even better judge the sincerity of the Emperor's intentions for peace with the Turks; the King will judge for himself that it would not be appropriate for the letter to come to the knowledge of others. The Emperor has further ordered him to consult with the Prince of Waldeck, so as they could start to execute the secret project; whilst he [the Emperor?] does not believe he can provide troops, he does not think that the Prince of Waldeck wishes to risk any of his own forces.
