Folios 184-185. The Prince of Waldeck to the King, dated at the Hague. Refers to the expected arrival of the four regiments of cavalry. He has spoken to the States General of the need of the Prince of Vaudemont for cannon and ammunition for Namur. The Count of Solms is embarrassed by the Spanish, who neglect everything, move the troops around and mistreat them, such that they will be a in a poor state for the campaign. There has been a treaty concluded between the Spaniards and Brandenburg at Brussels. The secret affair encounters many obstacles.
