Folio 171. Unsigned note [from the Governor of Oudenaarde?] dated at Oudenaarde at 1am. A report from his spies at midnight indicates that 4,000 horse arrived at Espieres and 12,000 more are following he believes in the direction of Charleroi. He believes the enemy's plan is to set fire to the country of Waes, and there is no time to lose.
