Folio 156. Don Juan de Pimentel, governor of Charleroi to the Prince of Vaudemont. Informs him of what is going on, in, and near that town, including that many pontoons passed Charleroi to Philippeville, with significant provision of forage being made in the latter town. The enemy has demanded pioneers between the Sambre and Meuse and he is told that at Maubeuge there is much activity in the war magazines. Boufflers is on the Flanders side but they expect him at any moment. The enemy has some plans which he expects they will declare soon.
