Folio 138. Copy of a letter from the Count of Solms to the Prince of Waldeck, dated at Malines. Writes that an adjutant of the Prince of Vaudemont has just told him that the overnight reports leave almost no doubt that the enemy has some plans for Charleroi; in light of this he asked him [the Count of Solms] to send an order to the effect that in case of need he could throw a detachment of 500 musketeers from the Brussels garrison to Charleroi, provided he did not make them march unnecessarily or without more certain information.
