Folios 131-132. Memorandum for the King as to the movements of the Allies, dated at Culenburg. Includes an extract from the letter of Flemming to the Count Cerclas [Tserclaes] informing him that he will only be able to leave one battalion at each of Liege and Viset, having to withdraw one of the promised battalions from Viset on the orders of his master in order to form a barrier in Cologne; the Bishop of Liege will have to provide for their subsistence on the same terms as last year, otherwise his master may need to withdraw them as well. The writer indicates that Count Windisgratz has orders to move the Hessians up towards Frankfurt, the Imperial Court having been advised that the French King would go to Strasburg in person with a powerful army. Details of the movements of the Bishop of Munster's infantry and the 3,000 Swedish troops returning to Bremen and Pomerania. Discussion regarding arrangements for grain magazines on the Meuse, Charleroi, Ath, Oudenaarde, and Meurs. Includes an extract from the letter of the Count of Solms to the Prince of Waldeck, regarding difficulties encountered lodging troops in garrisons at Oostende and Nieuwpoort.
