Folio 123. Extract from a letter from Mons, relating to de Hemskerck to the Prince of Waldeck, dated at Vienna. Refers to the taking or blockade of Great Waradin. Notes that the freezing cold is becoming too severe for the troops to remain where they are, unless they wish to sacrifice the poor remains of an army which has suffered so much in this campaign. As soon as the Emperor is better, and can give an audience to the writer, he will try to make arrangements for establishing a magazine on the Upper Rhine, but strikes a note of caution on the availability of funds. The Duke of Wurtemburg is not happy.
