Description

Folios 402-403: Edward Grey, Regulating Captain, Hull. He encloses a report of HM’s ships in the Humber and area. He refers back to the matter of detaining John Clark, Seaman, having served 8 years well, in the service and now a Sea Fencible in the Ipswich District. Clark’s Sea Fencible Protection certificate was sent with the request it should be returned if his discharge was ordered. The Captain asks for directions. The Lynn Tender has sailed with men for the Fleet.
