Folio 134. Copy of a letter from the Count of Tilly, dated at the camp of Gemeppe. The French army is still camped in the same place as last year. The camp starts just above Jemaille [Jemelle?] and ends beyond Gemeppe and Marloie. They are camped on two lines: M Bouffleur is at the Castle of Gemeppe; artillery are camped on the side of Halle. There is a powerful army and more are arriving every day. There is a large quantity of baggage, waggons and boats. Their plan is still not known, but Tilly will stay at the camp until the next day in order to try to learn the route they could take.
