Description

Folio 129. Unsigned or addressed letter dated at Brussels. Relays reports that the enemy camped on l'Escaut [Scheldt] total 40,000 men and are due to march that day to cross that river, with the intention to come and post themselves at Halle. Asks for this information to be passed to the King. It will be important to discover Boufflers' movements.
