Folios 151-152. Letter dated at London from Admiral Russell to the King that he hopes the fleet will be as ready for the sea as the enemy's despite the contrary winds preventing most of the great ships at Chatham going to Sheerness. Russell requests permission to put Captain Cornwall, whom the King has ordered to be removed from his ship, 'into a nobler ship' for this summer's services' the captain being one of the first officers Russell trusted with the King's 'coming over' as well as being a man of merit who will answer the character Russell has given him.
