Description

Folios 165-166: Henry Hope, HMS Endymion, Spithead. Reports his arrival with the prize frigate Preident after a passage of 20 days from Bermuda. Encloses copies of his orders from Commodore Evans and a log of the ship' s proceedings, together with her defects and state and condition. On leaving Bermuda exchanged signals with HMS Iphigenia but the evening was too far advanced for any other communications her convoy (35 sail) and another frigate being far distant to windward. Two other small sail only were seen during the passage.

Folios 167-168: enclosure with folios 165-166. Orders dated 3 March 1815 by Commodore Andrew F. Evans, Senior Officer at Bermuda to Henry Hope, HMS Endymion.

Folio 169: enclosure with folios 165-166. Defects report of HMS Endymion.

Folios 170-171: enclosure with folios 165-166. Orders dated 6 March 1815 by Captain Henry Hope, HMS Endymion, Bermuda, to Lieutenant Morgan, HMS Endymion. Concerning the prize President.

Folios 172-173: enclosure with folios 165-166. List of Officers, Seamen and others invalided and received on board HMS Endymion by order of Commodore Evans.

Folio 174: enclosure with folios 165-166. Weekly return [numbers only] of the sick and wounded on HMS Endymion between 22 and 29 October 1815.
