Folios 613-614: Alexander Fraser, HMS Diana, Funchal road Madeira. Following Vice Admiral Sir Roger Curtis's detailed proceedings of the Convoy since departing from Spithead, he advises of his arrival. He also encloses a list of ships who took convoy instructions prior to sailing from St Helens plus the complete list he previously sent as well as those off Falmouth and at this place. He also encloses a list of missing ships. He mentions the American Ships, some of whom returned their instructions and sailed before the convoy, sailed without returning instructions or seperated without formal leave.
