Folio 299. A letter from the Prince of Waldeck to the King, dated at [the camp at Leefdaal?]. They are marching towards the Duke of Luxembourg, who is said to have sent a detachment under the pretext of rescuing the Dauphin in Germany, towards Dunkerke and Calais to embark there for England, which Zeeland finally considers to be a threat to it. Waldeck has sent four infantry regiments, which together with that of Schott makes five, and one cavalry regiment. The said Luxembourg is getting reinforcements from Bouffleurs' troops and the garrisons. The Elector of Brandenburg professes goodwill but is in need of money. The Marquis of Gastanaga will join them the day after tomorrow, but such a large corps cannot stay together for long; if their fleets are at sea, they could take some good measures. Hopes for French prisoners to be taken and exchanged for theirs.
