Folio 294. A letter from the Prince of Waldeck to the King, from the Camp at Halle. Reports that after they had decided that the Marquis of Gastanaga would go with his troops and those of Hanover to Flanders, and that the State and Electoral armies would observe the Duke of Luxembourg, the Duke marched to the side of [Guerrain?] which meant they moved here and are deliberating as to what to do. Their deliberations include reflections on the fleet and subsistence for the armies, but the Spanish want them to attack or besiege the enemy. Waldeck imagines they would want to wait for the fleet and the reports from Germany before separating. He encloses a list of officers for the approval of the King. The Elector of Brandenburg provided such good service in marching to join up their troops, that he deserves a compliment and assistance.
