Folios 275-276. An unsigned letter [from Queen Mary II] to the King [William III], dated at Whitehall [Middlesex] mainly concerning the case of [Anthony] [Antoine] Hamilton. The Lord Stuart [Lord High Steward, Lord Devonshire] advised he has had a letter from Monsieur and Madame [Duke and Duchess of] de Grammont about [the Jacobite] Mr Hamilton, who is her brother, seeking an exchange for Lord Montjoy [Mountjoy]. Mary, acknowledges a letter from William dated at Chapel Ford on 31 July 1690, but she has suffered for having none since that one. She also is anxious about his 'passage of the river' [Shannon].
