The National Survey of Charities and Social Enterprises (NSCSE) was renamed in 2010 having previously been titled the National Survey of Third Sector Organisations (in 2008). It is funded by the Office for Civil Society in the Cabinet Office and is a national survey of charities, social enterprises, community groups, clubs and societies, non-profit organisations, voluntary organisations, housing associations, trusts, co-operatives and mutuals, and faith groups.
