Folio 169. Prince of Waldeck to the King, from the camp at Tongerell. Enclosing a letter he has written to M. Heinsius. He details movements of the troops and his plans to agree with the Elector and advance the Electoral troops to Stablo, so that he can join them on the march to Liege, Houy or Namur. He encloses a list of the troops he has with him and awaits the Lunenburg troops at Mastricht. The Liegeois have made the Count Tsaerclas (brother of the Count Tilly) as their general, and are assembling a small corps on the Meuse. Waldeck cannot praise the English enough. The Duke of Northumberland has arrived and Waldeck will show him all the civilities he can.
