Folio 155. Prince of Waldeck to the King from Perwis. Encloses a journal on the state of affairs in the Hague and the provinces. Details the risks posed by M. d'Audic; the Prince must establish good people there rather than the creatures of M. d'Audic who have their foot on his thoat, and whom he would not dare cross even if he wanted to. Waldeck's duty and the good of the public mean he is running the risk of attracting further persecution with such advice. He requests the King's views on the contents of the journal such that he can better tailor his conduct. Without risking something they would do nothing.
