Folio 61. The Prince of Waldeck to the King. He has learned with great displeasure of the bad state of Ireland. He reports success in the negotiations with the Governor of Rheinberg, who pledged 12,000 men, received 300 from the Regiment of Lannoy and 300 from Brandenburg, and will receive a further 300 from Munster. The treaty cost the State[s] 100,000 livres but was worth 1,000,000. As soon as the artillery reaches Wessel, he will attack Kaiserswerth. He has asked M. de Dyckvelt to tell his Majesty several things of importance.
