Folios 610-611: Michael Dod, HMS Princess of Orange, Chatham. Having only Commanded HMS Princess of Orange for thirty six days and having caused her Pay Books, Muster Book and other accounts to be regularly filled up and closed and being about to pay off the ship. He requests a Dispensing Order for his passing a Regular Account, as the Fees of Office will greatly diminish the Emoluments arising from Commanding her.
