Greenwich Hospital pensions and allowances paid between 1822 and 1917 to widows and children of non-commissioned officers, petty officers and men of the Royal Navy and Marines under Stat 46 and 47 Vict, c32. From November 1903 these pensions were supplemented from Naval funds.
The series also contains a register of pensions and allowances paid under Order in Council of 26 September 1901 to widows and relatives of men whose deaths were attributed to warlike operations and registers of applications for pensions, etc, made between 1892 and 1949.
