Folio 112. Letter dated at Lisburn from the Duke of Schomberg to the King, in favour of Mr. Bayerlay, whose colonel, Colonel Huet, died at Chester. Bayerlay is lieutenant-colonel of the regiment and suitable for the colonelcy. Mr Harboard desires to go to England. He leaves both Schomberg and the transport men without money. Humery is unfit for the business.
