Memorandum by Samuel Atkinson, of Croydon, co. Surrey, esq., of his willingness to accept a certain rent from Margaret Barton, widow, from messuages and lands [described] in Rotherhithe. The said Atkinson had leased the premises on 8 June 1749 to AbrahamPurdy, of Rotherhithe, anchor smith [lease recited], who on 14 Dec. 1750 had assigned the same to the said Margaret Barton [assignment recited]. With a receipt of 11 April 1785.
