Part 2, Folios 166-167. Letter to Madame Mazarin asking for news of a decision in the 'great affair' which holds all of Europe in suspense. The writer speaks of fears of the slightest sedition in the absence of the King being dangerous for the Queen and all Catholics. They add that it does not bode well for the Prince of Orange to set foot on land in the same spot as Monmouth. They express their concerns for Isabelle who is at present still with Me Estafort, and a wish to travel to Flanders to see her [Mazarin].
