Second Party: Gerard de Kanvill.
Place or Subject: The king grants to Gerard that he should have two markets to last two days every week, namely one at Sutton in Hoyland [Long Sutton] on a Friday and another at Midlinton [Middleton] on a Monday, but in such a way that they are not to the nuisance of neighbouring markets. The king also grants that he may enclose his wood of Middleton and make a park there.
